Technology in the Elementary Classroom
Technology for the classroom should be practical. It should also reflect our
understandings about teaching and learning. I will share examples
of spreadsheets and computer programs that can be integrated into existing
curriculum for elementary and middle schools. These examples include
the TAXMAN Game, the Aquarium Problem, understanding the mean as a
balance point, and exploring experimental probabilities.
